Little Smoochers...

Hi Everyone
Today Im sharing a layout made using the Scrappy Canary May Add-On kit

This month I went a little crazy and ordered all 3 kits.. whoops. But in all honesty, why not? They're packed full of awesome products!

My favourite part of this kit was the 12x12inch glittery foam hearts. I knew I needed to make them the Hero of a layout, so this is what I came up with..
Little Smoochers, so darn cute! A captured moment on Mother's Day between Leila and her cousin.
I kept the layout itself quite simple, layering up papers from the Amelia paper pad. Minimal embellishments came from the kit, plus I dipped into my bits & pieces pack from the Pocket Life kit to add a few finishing touches

To keep my alphas stuck, Ive smothered them in glossy accents.

Sweet Family...

Hi Everyone!
Today Im sharing my first layout for Scrappy Canary this month.
I've used the May Sweet Treat kit, and dipped into the Elle's Studio bits & pieces pack from the Pocket Life kit

I love everything about this layout. The colours, the design and most of all a very rare photo of the 3 of us together.

I started with the foil chevron paper, some modelling paste, a chalk ink and a Kaiser Craft stencil.

I spread the modelling paste in random places and once dry, I smudged the ink with a sponge

Once the background was completely dry (and buckled) I adhered it to the Simple Stories paper.
I cut a 10x10 inch square from the middle of the paper for use on other layouts before doing this

I've grabbed a doily and layered it with a 4x4 cut apart from the Dear Lizzy sheet and the barcode paper strip, then mixed the Gold alphas with a Pink Paisley glitter foam word to create my Title.
The 'Remember this' tab is from the Elle's Studio bits & pieces pack

I've used the Lets Party paper as a photo mat, and together with a sweet sentiment from the ephemera pack in my stash Ive held them all in place with a Dear Lizzy bobby pin

Lastly Ive embellished with items from the Chipboard stickers pack, some Studio Calico Gold glitter hearts, some white glitter hearts from the Pink Paislee foam words and shapes pack and lastly a wood button from the Shimelle 1/2 pack.

Thanks for stopping by today!

He loves you...

Hello Everyone
Today Im sharing my last D-lish page for the month :)

I absolutely adore this photo of Leila and my nephew Bailey. For the first year of her life he regarded her as his sister. Being quite young himself, he didn't know the difference, and we didn't correct him.

I started the page with the layered bags and tags, then adding a heart doily from my stash (you can find others in the D-lish store HERE

Next I've added the coloured tulle and photo, along with a sentiment strip from THIS wordfetti pack.

For this embellishment cluster, I grabbed a few different round Journal Its from the Basics range and a Monochrome pack, layered with both a new and older flair button, Resin bird, 2 paper flowers (Sweetheart & Forget me not), a wood button heart and a Freckled fawn arrow paper clip

To make the last cluster, Ive layered up a Mini Date journal it, pretty pink Sequin Bow, word strip from THIS wordfetti packwood flower button, and a light pink Sweet Petite flower

Lastly, I've used THIS washi tape around the edges on an angle, then splattered the page with some Gold Color Shine.

Thanks for stopping by, I can't wait to get started on next months pages

Moments Like this...

Hello Everyone!
I'm back again to share another layout full of D-lish goodness.

Ive had the doily idea in my head for awhile now, but each time I tried it out, I just couldn't get it to work right with the ones I was using. Then I tried these from the D-lish store, and Ta-da! I've used the  3.5" paper doilies, cut in half and stuck to a piece of kraft cardstock. Ive then attached the full piece to the backing paper from a recent Crate Paper collection. I love how this has turned out.

For the photo stack, Ive layered a 5x7 bag, a piece of Vellum and the photo together, then pegged a Scrap FX heart over the top. Ive stapled a sentiment strip from THIS wordfetti pack.

I tried not to over embellish the layout, so that it didn't distract from the photo or layered doily feature. Ive dipped into my newest Flair stash along with some Resin pieces, a wood button and a paper flower.

Ive used the same paper flower in the 2 other clusters on the page, this one with another resin flowerSkipping 5 puffy sticker and a square Journal it that Ive cut down.

And lastly the Title cluster. Ive used another Journal it that Ive cut down and layered together with another sentiment strip from THIS pack, some alpha stickers from my stash, a Freckled Fawn wood chip bubble word (no longer stocked but other options HERE), another paper flowerresin flower and lastly a favourite of mine - a sequin bow

You can find all of the D-lish items within the store, plus plenty of other yummy goodies!

To think of you is to Smile

Hey Everyone!
Today I have a layout to share that is inspired by this months D-lish Scraps Inspiration Board

Ive taken inspiration from the colour palette, the sketch, the black spotted cushion, round elements of bottom right picture and the quote (although I've used a different style of quote)

I really love how this layout came together. A nice change in colours for Leila's album, and a great use for all the D-lish goodies that came in colours I don't use a lot of

I absolutely love the Wordfetti and Cardfetti packs. So many fun sentiments that are perfect for adding finishing touches to the page.

Ive grouped small clusters of embellishments around the page, this one features a Dyed wooden buttonResin Polka Dot button and a flair button from the April releases. You can also see a peek of the 5x7 black bag Ive used for the base of the photo mat.

To add some soft texture to the page, Ive used some strip of Hand dyed muslin
Embellished with heart buttons and a Resin flower

A close up of the last cluster, featuring another Flair from the same set as above, another Polka Dot Button, Freckled Fawn arrow clipResin flower and a paper forget me not flower

Lastly, a couple of journal its and another strip from the Worfetti pack to finish off.

Thanks for stopping by, I will be back with more to share tomorrow
Happy Scrapping!
